Observe the prospect in at least 5 matches, paying attention to the prospects skills, results, and how the prospect gets along with others.
MEMBERS CANNOT BE MEMBERS OF ANY OTHER AAO CLAN.
If the prospect already has a clan tag, ask them about it. AG does not want to get a reputation for prospecting members of other clans. If the prospect is just using a clan tag, but is not really in an organized clan, proceed.
Compliment the player. Ask the prospect if he or she would like to become a member of the Assassins Guild.
Do NOT make any promises as to rank or potential leadership positions within the clan. We do not need nor desire an extensive leadership hierarchy as it makes the clan hard to manage. Clan leadership reserves the right to do this.
Do not say such things as “We could use you for our nader” or “I want you to come snipe for AG”. This could set an expectation as to reserved position on the team.
If the prospect says no thanks, do not beg or pester further. Tell him or her, “Ok, let me know if you change your mind”. Prospects will usually ask more about the Assassins Guild. Be truthful. Invite them to visit the Assassins.US website.
If the prospect says Yes, Sure, Sounds Good, or some other favorable comment, ask them to visit the website. Tell them they will need to add the [AG] tag, and they will have to register on AAO Tracker. Ask for their email address.
MEMBERS MUST HAVE [AG] IN THEIR NAME.
When you see them with [AG] in their name, send them an email with the clan password at AAO tracker and ask if they need any help with AAO Tracker. They can check the Indoctrination page at the Assassins.US website for step by step instructions.
KEEP THE CLAN PASSWORD SECRET. DO NOT TELL ANYONE THE PASSWORD DURING A MATCH.
Verify the new member is listed as a clan member on the AAO Tracker website, send an email message to Cog advising of the new member. Include the new members email address. I will add the new members name and profile to the website.
